From Lab Bench to Kitchen Tap: A New Chapter for Turritap and Turritech

With pride and excitement, we are happy to share an important step forward for Turritap: from now on, the marketing and sales of the Turritap will be shaped and carried out by the dedicated sales team of Team Turritap B.V.

After ten years of intensive development, testing, and fine-tuning of the Turritap, we have officially signed the license agreement – a key milestone on the path from lab bench to kitchen tap. This moment marks the transition from a research-driven phase to a phase where more households, coffee lovers, and professionals can actually experience the difference in taste at home.

Thanks to this step, Cees Kamp, inventor of the Turritap and his Turritech water research activities can now fully focus again on what he does best: research and innovate in water technology. One of the exciting projects already underway is the KIEM project “Turritest”, carried out together with the Water Technology research group of NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences in Leeuwarden, where new applications and testing methods around water and taste are being explored.

This collaboration allows each team to do what it is strongest at: Turritech as an innovation engine in the lab, and Team Turritap as the bridge that brings this innovation into everyday life at the tap. It is an important chapter in making scientifically grounded water improvement accessible in a simple, practical way at home.
