Turritap
Your water. Alive.
No filters. No magic. Just physics.
Swirl your water alive
The world’s first evidence-based water swirler. Engineered like nature. No filters, just natural physics at work. Own the swirl. Feel the microbubbles.
What is Turritap?
Turritap is a water optimizer—a precision-engineered ceramic piece that improves your tap water through biomimetic spiral geometry. Its swirl creates air-enriched water with microbubbles, inspired by 500 million years of Turritella shell evolution.
No filters. No Magic. Just Physics.
Dutch Design, made in Europe.
Microbubble structure
Turritap transforms water into a microbubble structure through natural vortex dynamics. This creates a silky-smooth mouthfeel, while enriched oxygen adds a vibrant, refreshing quality. The water feels lighter and flows effortlessly. Validated by professional water sommeliers.
Billions of microscopic microbubbles also expand the surface contact with coffee and tea, releasing flavors, oils, and aromas more completely. You’ll taste the difference: fuller body, deeper complexity, richer notes. Verified in blind tastings by competition baristas.
- Inspired by the natural swirl of the Turritella shell
- Scientific publication on microbubbles creation (N. English & C. Kamp, UCD dec 2024)
- Sustainable ceramic core design - no replacements, no subscription
- Compliant to food safety standards FDA approved materials
- Flexible use: easy attach to faucet, install in-line, or take it anywhere
4 users. 4 different reasons.
One product.
Turritap resonates with different people for different reasons. Here’s how it fits into four very different lives.
Coffee enthusiast
James (52)
“If there’s room for improvement, why settle? That’s always been my approach to coffee. Now I’ve found the missing piece: the water. Game changer.”
Mindful mother
Emma (42)
“It’s wonderful—like mountain spring water right from my faucet! It’s lighter, easier to drink, and tastes so much purer and fresher. The best part? The kids are finally drinking tap water.”
Design Connoisseur
Sophia (59)
“Quality is unmistakable. My dogs and cats refuse anything else now—this water is all they’ll drink. And the design? Just as it should be: elegant, timeless.”
Ownership Purist
Richard (38)
“No filters to replace. No lock-in. One purchase, permanent ownership. The peer-reviewed microbubble study convinced me—real science, not marketing nonsense. It works. Simple as that.”

Winner Coffee Masters™ London 2019
“The incredibly complex taste of coffee becomes more layered. The noise disappears. It’s like adding an EQ to your espresso — everything becomes clearer.”
What Rob Did:
Rob witnessed Turritap being tested at the Dutch Brewers Cup Championships in 2019. The blind jury, unaware of the Turritap, found the difference in coffee taste so significant that they questioned whether the water had been manipulated. Immediately fascinated, Rob now uses Turritap in his own coffee tastings — inspiring fellow coffee enthusiasts along the way. To deepen his understanding, he is participating in a scientific study at NHL Stenden Leeuwarden, further examining the Turritap’s impact on coffee taste.
The Data:
- 70% detect difference in blind taste test (n=140)
- 40% rate improvement as "significant quality boost"
- Inward vortex swirl motion creates microbubbles, in order of 1 µm in diameter
- Compliant to food safety standards, FDA approved materials
